The Peirce Elementary School is holding a silent auction on Friday, Nov. 6 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge on Academy Street (next to Arlington Town Hall). $7.50 at the door for tickets; cash bar.

We've got some pretty incredible items - more than 100! The list includes tickets to the Bruins, the Celtics and for Dane Cook's New Year's Eve show. Why else should you come? We also have ... sports stuff (stick signed by the Bruins, ball signed by Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon), music-related items (personalized CDs from Yo-Yo Ma, a semester of music classes at Tufts University - a $250 value), karate lessons, museum passes, bike tuneups, jewelry, an iPod nano, TV, landscaping, lunch at the State House with Rep. Sean Garballey and some serious big ticket items. A week in a Cape vacation home.

And it's all to benefit the Peirce Elementary School in Arlington.
