John Linnell and John Flansburgh met when they were teens growing up in the Boston suburb of Lincoln. Together they founded Grammy Award-winning alternative rock band They Might Be Giants. Their 2009 release "Here Comes Science" is a CD/DVD that aims to educate and entertain with songs like "Meet the Elements," "I Am a Paleontologist," and "My Brother the Ape." A pair of weekend family concerts benefits Boston By Foot. -- Milva DiDomizio, Globe Staff
