Kay Evans:
Kay Evans joined Keller Williams Realty in 1999, after having spent several years in the Atlanta real estate market where she held leadership positions in several traditional real estate offices. For multiple years she was recognized as one of Atlanta's Top 20 brokers. In her partnership with Bob Kilinski, Kay has been instrumental in the growth of the Keller Williams Southeast Region. In 2003, within five years of its beginning, the Southeast Region was named by KWRI as the Top Performing Region in both Growth and Achievement.. They have opened 60 market centers and have grown to over 5,000 associates. It continues to rank as one of the top performing regions in the Keller Williams organization. Kay is also a co-owner of the North Florida Region. Kay's professional success and effectiveness was further recognized as the 2004 recipient of the prestigious CEO Award for her contributions to the Southeast Region and Keller Williams Organization overall. Additionally in 2004, Kay was featured in Jezebel Magazine as one of the Top Ten Successful business people in Atlanta, and the Atlanta Business Chronicle included her in their "Who's Who in Real Estate in Atlanta" for multiple consecutive years. She has also been recognized as one of Atlant's Power Brokers for numerous years. Her value in the real estate industry is even greater with Kay's educational expertise and passion for teaching. With a degree in Business Education, Kay started her career teaching high school and in 1978 joined the real estate industry. She began her career selling real estate in Lafayette, LA where she moved into ownership of her own company prior to moving to Atlanta. She has served on the Education Advisory Committee to the Georgia Real Estate Commission and was recognized throughout her career for excellence as a real estate instructor. KWRI and KWU acknowledge Kay as one of the best instructors in the real estate industry. Her fun and interactive teaching style provides experience and knowledge to Keller Williams associates and encourages both professional and personal growth.
