Belmont World Film presents ONCE IN AFGHANISTAN"

As a prelude to its 10th anniversary and the Peace Corps’ 50th anniversary, Belmont World Film presents ONCE IN AFGHANISTAN, the story of one Peace Corps group’s extraordinary experience in Afghanistan before the Soviet occupation—a group that traveled village-to-village vaccinating against smallpox. Filmmaker Jill Vickers, who was one of the vaccinators, will participate in a post-film Q&A, along with her group’s training director and another vaccinator, both featured in the film.
