OK, let's see. "High School Musical 2" is the stage adaptation of a televised sequel to a television show, the third-installment movie sequel to which has just come out on the big screen. And it's an obvious choice for a holiday show because . . .?

Coming off the Broadway stage was bittersweet for Kate Rockwell, who played Margot in "Legally Blonde: The Musical." But the 24-year-old actress says her new life playing the spoiled rotten Sharpay in North Shore Music Theatre's "Disney High School Musical 2" is just the right remedy.
