New England Survey

Opening reception will be held on Thursday, March 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The exhibition takes for its inspiration a poem by Amherst poet Robert Francis (1901-1987), “New England Mind.” The works highlighted often focus on a particular location within the regional land or landscape and meditate on the ineffable idea of a “sense of place.”

The featured photographers/projects are Barbara Bosworth (MA); Jonathan Sharlin (RI); Janet Pritchard (CT); Paul Taylor (NH); Tanja Alexia Hollander (ME); and Thad Russell (VT).
