Featuring former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky with legendary drummer Rakalam Bob Moses and upcoming saxophonist Andrew Urbina. Also featuring George Garzone and Friends, the Berklee City Music All-Stars Quintet, the Marianne Solivan Quartet with Eric Hofbauer, Dmitry Ishenko, and Mike Conners, and the Coltrane EOP Quartet with Leonard Brown, Tom Ingles, Alvin Terry, and Emmett Price III.
MC for the festivities will be Eric Jackson, host of "Jazz with Eric in the Evening," weeknights on WGBH 89.7.
Proceeds will be shared by the John Coltrane Memorial Concert Educational Outreach Program, the New England Conservatory Community Performances and Partnerships Program, and the Berklee College of Music City Music Program.
