House of Blues is a home for live music and southern-inspired cuisine in an environment celebrating the African American cultural contributions of blues music and folk art. In 1992, the original House of Blues® was built in a historical house in Cambridge. That first House of Blues opened its door on Thanksgiving Day, 1992 feeding the homeless before opening to the public.

When the main draw is music, how good can the food be? At the House of Blues restaurant on Lansdowne Street, the answer is: better than required for a place many will visit for convenience's sake. It may not bring people to the neighborhood specifically to eat, but if you're seeing a show next door or heading to a game, this is a fine place to seek sustenance. (Full review)
