Nestled just off the beaten path in Boston’s Back Bay Neighborhood.
33 Restaurant & Lounge features a popular contemporary American menu, uniquely fusing traditional New England cuisine with hints of the exotic.
Entertainment is offered in the lounge Wednesday through Saturday.
This location is nice for connecting with some of the "chi-chi" people... You are not going to get any action if you do not dress to the nines. There is a basement level that is VERY SMALL...When it gets cramped, I'm talking about at the most, 30 people. Upstairs is not much different. 20 on the dance floor and about 40 in and around the bar...It has a great patio though. If you don't get there early, forget getting in unless you are "someone."
For my twenty first birthday I had made a reservation well in a month advance and they when I called to confirm my reservation before we arrived at the restaurant they lost our reservation. When we told the manager he could care less. He then told us we still had to wait for a table. The hostess put the date of my reservation wrong and nothing was done about it.
However food was good but service was horrideous!
Outrageously priced, but one of the best tasting dishes I have ever had.
