Da Vinci

I haven't eaten at this restaurant for several years, when it used to be Grillfish, one of my favorite seafood restaurants. At the time, the decor was just perfect - concrete floors, funky wall murals, blackboard specials. Now, Da Vinci has completely remodeled the space, with a roomy yet cozy bar, with several bar tables and mini living rooms set ups. The floor has been refinished with dark polished wood and the concrete supporting columns encased which not only cuts down on noise but makes for an extremely appealing and romantic space. The food was absolutely exquisite, and very moderately priced. The wine list was also very extensive, from moderately priced to very expensive. Try the seared sea scallop appetizer or the fresh arugula salad. The mushroom pappardelle with white truffle oil was absolutely amazing (and I don't really like mushrooms!). I really can't wait to go back again and sample everything else on the menu!
