Fifties ambience, '90s crossover cuisine (curried onion rings?), blue-haired Symphony goers, and green-haired moshers. Sounds like culture clash, but somehow it works, with mix-and-match noodles, meats, and vegetables. (Boston Globe)

Service is a disaster. I would not recommend this place if it was the last restaurant open. We showed up Saturday night around 6:45 pm. Place was busy, but certainly not crazy - there were tables open. Host (who turned out to be the manager) said there would be a little wait, and when we decided to leave, the manager persuaded us to stay saying the wait would only be 20 minutes. So, we decided to stay. Manager then left and never came back for 20 minutes. Waiters checked in on occassion, but that was it, and evenatually asked us (and 10 other parties who had been waiting just as long) to leave becasue of back-up. But, we counted 7 tables open. Finally, one waitress came up to us after 45 minutes and sat us at a table, but said we could only order from 2 items on the menu - salad or sandwich - but that was it, no noodles, nothing. We asked to speak with the manager, but waitress came back and said the manager was not coming out to talk to us. We ended up leaving. Pretty classy place.
