Gitlo's Dimsum & Bakery

We love this place and take a lot of out of towners when they're visiting. It's best to take people who you haven't seen in a while because while you're catching up you don't notice that it's taking 20 minutes to get your Shiu Mai. But in the end- it's WORTH THE WAIT!

We went here on a slow Sunday night. It took them at least 1 hour to serve our food. The dim sum was very good but the service was deplorable. Don't order the crab meat puff - they use the fake crab meat. We liked the Scallop Shiu Mai, XO sauce daikon cake, Taro Spring Rolls, Sesame Ball. It seems they were more focused on filling take away orders than pleasing customers who pay for drinks and leave a tip. Also the bathroom is down a steep stairwell and if you sit by the windows, you can see the bathroom through a gap in the floor. Don't bother.

Are you kidding me? This is what they call good dim sum. BTW, are they really from Hong Kong like they said. Their names certainly don't reflect that!
