As a young man, Jon Lovitz hoped to become an actor, but he was a little too funny to play the serious guy. In the 1980s he turned to comedy, landed a job on Saturday Night Live, and has been making people laugh ever since with his distinctive voice and many characters (Tommy Flanagan of Pathological Liars Anonymous, Master Thespian, and Hanukkah Harry among them).
