Ativismo ABC is a nine year old anarchist collective from Santo Andre SP- Brazil). The collective was part of the People Global Action coalition of San Paulo during the global protests (2001-2003).
In 2004 AABC rented a house (Casa da Lagartixa Preta) in Santo Andre what was considered a counter-cultural center at first, now has changed to be considered a laboratory to develop knowledge related to deinstitutionalization of society ("Deschooling… Show more Society"- Ivan Illich).
Caio Juca has been part of the Ativismo ABC since its begining and spent the last two years travelling around Brazil promoting debates and building alliances between Ativismo ABC and other collectives. Other comrades from AABC also travel around Brazil and Latin America to spend time with other anarchist collectives, building alliances in order to create a network of a great variety of knowledge and practices towards autonomy.
