Originator of all Vinyasa styles, the Ashtanga yoga system focuses on coordination of movement with the breath using counted vinyasa, to move through a set series of postures. Students are encouraged to learn the sequence to enable a regular self practice, and a deeper level of self awareness.
Level 2/3 will continue to explore the poses of the Primary series. Students should already have a basic understanding of the opening sequence of "sun A & B's" and the standing series.
