Spend a summer week in our air-conditioned wood shop making a Shaker end table from start to finish. Start with raw lumber. Mill, plane, and review safe use of hand and power tools. Construct legs and a drawer with handmade dovetail and mortise and tenon joints. If time permits, you may even have a taste of simple finishing or knob turning on the lathe. Prerequisite: Basic Woodworking or equivalent.
