NEC Chamber Orchestra
Wednesday, Apr 25, 2012 8:00p
New England Conservatory: Jordan Hall
Boston,
MA
With nothing but their own ears to guide them, this conductorless orchestra takes on music from Haydn to Shostakovich. Donald Palma, a founding member of New York's Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, coaches the conductorless NEC Chamber Orchestra—the ultimate listener's ensemble. Tonight's concert features two outstanding string players, violinist Grace Park and violist Wenting Kang, who, as winners of NEC concerto competitions, perform as sololists in Mozart's Sinfonia concertante.
