Note: This is a "standard" tour, which is very popular, and one that we're confident you will enjoy. For a special occasion, or should you wish to treat yourself a bit more, we recommend our "premium" tour, which includes dessert at one of Boston's few 4-star restaurants or a 5-star hotel.
Boston Foodie Tours (formerly Boston Food Finds) can be found in the upcoming January issue of Foodies of New England magazine. We were also thrilled to receive a mention in a recent edition of USA Today and on… Show more Boston's beloved news show, Chronicle.
Boston Foodie Tours conducts food tours throughout Boston and surrounding neighborhoods. We describe our tours as "best of" because they include James Beard Award winners, celebrity chefs, "Best of Boston" winners, "Hall of Fame" chowders, and food trucks/carts that have been featured on the Food Network or the Cooking Channel.
While tour stops are subject to change to keep tours fresh and new, recent Beacon Hill \& Back Bay food tours have started at Lydia Shire's award-winning restaurant, Scampo, at the Liberty Hotel. Additional tour stops have included Savenor's Market, Beacon Hill Chocolates, Bacco's Wine and Cheese, Copley Square Farmers' Market, Sabatino and Company, Turner Fisheries, popular food trucks, Sweet Cupcakes and Finale Desserts.
Join us and find out where Lionel Richie and Bill Murray both dined in recent weeks. (Hint: It's the same place where the Governor celebrated his wife's 60th birthday.) Learn where Oprah frequently buys gift baskets. In fact, this shop made her "O" list twice! Looking for a great breakfast spot? Look no further. We'll introduce you to a 70-year-old+ Boston institution that has served breakfast to the likes of Jack Nicholson, Kevin Costner and Ben Stiller. Better follow the rules while we're there, though! And what would a visit to Boston be without sampling our chowder? Will "Hall of Fame" chowder do? If that's not enough, we've saved the best for last: dessert. We can't send you home without that, can we?
