This guided walking tour strolls through the vibrant literary history of Victorian Boston. Boston was the most important literary center in the country and home to many of America's greatest writers.
On this tour you will see the homes and haunts of great Victorians as Emerson, Hawthorne, Thoreau, Dickens, Louisa May Alcott, Henry James, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Individually, they were writers and poets without peer. Collectively, they made Boston the epicenter of American Letters.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable but she was so soft-spoken that it was extremely difficult to hear her over the traffic. The area is beautiful !!!
