The ceremony will honor Massachusetts fallen heroes & their families with the launch of a commemorative “Gold Star” commuter rail passenger coach. The coach is shrink-wrapped in a patriotic image & 136 Gold Stars with the names of the MA soldiers, Marines, sailors & airmen who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom & Operation Iraqi Freedom. This memorial coach will travel across the entire MBTA system as a reminder of our fallen heroes & their sacrifice.
