Celebrating its 40th year as the longest running annual theatre event in Boston, the Playwrights’ Platform will showcase thirteen new short plays by some of the best emerging playwrights in the area.
Theresa Rebeck, the author of the current hit Broadway comedy Seminar and creator of the NBC series SMASH, is a former member of the Playwrights' Platform. To help commemorate the festivals 40th anniversary, Ms. Rebeck’s short play, Breakfast on the Back Porch, will be performed both weekends.
