Come Back, Africa by Lionel Rogosin (1960, 85 min.) Rogosin traveled to South Africa to document the true conditions of those living under Apartheid. Drawing inspiration from Italian neo-realism, Rogosin traded the studio for the streets and used nonprofessional actors to portray the film's characters, including Zachariah, a man struggling to support his family.
