Walking in the Shoes of the Homeless 2012 Winter Walk Raises Funds to End Homelessness

Hearth and HomeStart, two leading nonprofit organizations in Greater Boston that work to end homelessness and provide permanent and affordable housing, are coming together to raise awareness and funds through the Winter Walk.
The Winter Walk hopes to attract 500 participants to the Boston Common to complete a two-mile route and raise $200,000 to provide housing and create solutions to help those who currently call the city’s streets and alleyways home.
