Longwood Symphony Orchestra - Weber and Hindemith
The LSO performs Hindemith's show-stopping "Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes by Carl Maria von Weber" as well as music from Weber's "Turandot," the inspiration for Hindemith's masterpiece. Boston-based composer Michael Gandolfi's "The Willow Twist" opens the program, and virtuoso clarinetist Narek Arutyunian joins the LSO for Weber's exciting Clarinet Concerto No. 2.
