Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet

Cool Globes is a traveling public art exhibit designed to raise awareness about climate change.

The exhibit features dozens of five-foot in diameter globes designed by artists from around the world, including Boston sculptors Nancy Schon and David Phillips. Each globe portrays a solution to climate change. The globes will mainly be on display in the Boston Common and the Esplanade, in addition to various locations throughout the city, such as Copley Plaza and John Hancock Tower.

Huge, colorful orbs line up in a row down the Tremont Street side of Boston Common. It looks like a giant might be marshaling his marbles.
