Great great GREAT!

Picked out a random restaurant for a friday night date with my fiance...doesnt look like much from the outside but once you're inside...very nice! The decor is almost train station like with a romantic touch -- the seating was close in proximity with other customers but got comfortable as the meal went on. The drink specials were very good- we tried a couple and like all. Food was very well proportioned and fresh looking/tasting. Very much worth the price of the food. Do NOT miss this one. :)

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had

My mom and I are from Toronto and were looking for a restaurant for dinner. We wanted healthy, mid reange pricing and close to our hotel (The Hyatt Regency). We just stumbled on this restaurant and instead we got delicious food with fresh ingredients at an amazing price. The atmosphere was vibrant and the staff were so friendly and you could tell they had a passion for their food. I had the house salad and butternut squash ravoli with a maple reduction butter sauce and goats cheese. My mom had the pear salad with flatbread pizza. All the food was amazing. I have been to Boston previously and I always found it hard to find a good restaurant. This place is a gem! Thank you to all the staff for making us have one of the best restaurant experiences of our lives!

Major Thumbs Up

My date and I found this place by accident before going to a show at the Boston Opera House. (I live and work in the area, which is why we stumbled upon it; otherwise, it's rather off the beaten path.) I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food! There was excellent variety, well thought-out dishes and the service was quick and polite as well. I had seared scallops in a ginger sauce with lemon risotto as an appetizer -- amazing! And pumpkin tortolonni as an entree -- also delicious. My date had a mouth-watering steak that was buttery and divine. We will definitely be going back! I am especially high on this place because I live downtown and it adds to the very very short list of decent take-out places on weeknights! Cheers to the chefs of Kingston Station.

Great place for drinks and a bite after work!

Wow, I was surprised how great the food was here! It's hidden away, you have to seek this place out unless you work in the area, but it's worth checking out if you want to meet friends after work, etc. Had a great glass of cabernet and a bit later in the evening was surprised how much I LOVED my friend's chocolate martini that I managed to drink most of! As for dinner, I had the tuna niciose salad...delish! Also shared the truffle frites with friends and was loving the garlic aioli they came with. Honey butter for the bread was a great little treat.

As for the atmosphere- the decor is understated and classy/ casual. White tiles, red leather booths, cafe tables. The music was a chill mixture of 80s to current, I was grooving to the playlist. The place was a bit quiet on a Tuesday night but I am hoping things will pick up after people discover this place.
