Had the Boston Un-Common sushi which was marvelous. Also avocado role and the Tobiko; only criticism was the tobiko was one piece of sushi rather than the usual two. Service was excellent. This was Sat lunch. Will definitely go back and try others...and probably have another Un-Common role!

I had high hopes for Haru, especially with such fierce competition in Boston these days for sushi. Unfortunately, after nearly $80 worth of sushi and drinks for two, we left disappointed. First of all, the sushi is just average. The tuna and salmon sashimi were nothing special, presentation was also lacking. The rolls are measly and resemble take-out sushi. I've never gotten little bones stuck in my teeth before, but I did after eating an eel roll at Haru. So disgusting! This has never happened to me before and I have eaten a lot of eel. The atmosphere is ok, but a but pretentious. The service was lacking personality. People are robots at this restaurant. Overall, a complete disappointment. The ony redeeming aspect was great tempura. Skip this place!
