grea night

A small group of us went out for a night on the town and chose to dine here based on the reviews. We made a reservation for 3, and were about 15 minutes late. Unfortunately our table was not ready, but since we were late we weren't upset about it. The ambiance of the North End, and the company made it seem like only a minute that we waited. The hostess was clearly upset that she was unable to seat us immediately, so she apologized with a complimentary glass of wine. Once we sat, our server was attentive but not intrusive. The food was simply fantastic. The flavors were just awesome and we were still raving about our meal the next day. Price was reasonable. Thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to returning!

Great Food......Bad Bully

After having a great meal at this restaurant, we received our bill for our meal. Now our meal was great, but the service that we received at the table I would rate as mediocre, which turned worse after we paid the bill. Our total bill was $67 which $24 was a bottle of wine, we left $71 as the service was not that great, we had to refill our own glasses of wine, ask for water and waited at least 5 minutes to have our plates removed after finishing our meal. The waitress came to pick up the check which we had paid cash, the waitress came back to ask if the service had been okay as we had only left a $4 tip. When my husband has said "No, the service was okay" the waitress proceed to harass my husband for the rest of the tip. This just ruined our evening and left a terrible reminder to a great trip we had in Boston. What a great way to make tourist welcome in your city.

Worst Service ever.

Me and my wife were passing by one place and were attacked by some little short lady who practically dragged us into the place. The food was excellent but the service was not. The little lady practically choked all the food down our throats. Then she tried to serenade us when all we wanted was for her to walk away.
Overall the food is good but the service is not.

Great Place

This has become one of my favorite places in the North End. I have been there about 4 times now and always had a great experience. The food is always served hot and made to order. You can tell how fresh everything is and the waitstaff has always been very friendly. One time I was there with a party of 10 and we waited about 40 minutes for the last person to show up and some restaurants make you wait for the whole party, not here, they were very patient with us.

Best Bruschetta I think i've ever had.

Good choice off the beaten path

Went here for the first time on the weekend. Menu looked good and the prices are very reasonable. One block from Hanover St but not hard to find. Modern decor/atmosphere and very clean. The waitress was fantastic - quick service, knew the specials and very helpful on suggestions. Red sauce on the chicken parm was more of a creamy tomato than a marinara - still good, but different. Bread was the freshest I've ever had. Overall, one of the best dining experiences I've had in the North End.

not good

this was the worst dinning experience i have had in a long time. we were told that we would have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table, and we waited almost 2 hours and the hostess never apologized. my food was served 25 minutes after my friends, they didn't get half of their meals(pasta that was meant to come with their veal parmesan),the waiter never came back, and the managers blamed us for not sending the food back when we got cold food! after all of that we had to pay full price for half a meal! i would never go here agin

molto bene

This restaurant is fantastic. The friendly staff makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The menu has something for everyone and the food is to die for. I was most impressed by how hot the servings stayed as we ate. They must take the care to serve on hot or warm plates. They have a great wine selection also. The portions are more than generous. We had a delightful dining experience. My wife appreciated the atmosphere and the fact that the tables were nicely spaced.
