I have been here twice because of the atmosphere and location ONLY. The food is disgusting and the service is the absolute worst I have ever experienced at any bar/restaurant facility in Boston (or anywhere for that matter). Both times I have been here I have had an absolutely terrible experience. All staff including management is rude and condescending. The only advantage of going to Lucky Strike is that you can organize large groups to meet and the bowling always makes for a good time (if they don't cancel your game without notice midway through and refuse to refund your money). I hosted a surprise 30th birthday party here for someone that is a huge red sox fan since this is a well known, convenient, red sox bar. The guest was also at the red sox game earlier in the day and we knew Lucky Strike/Jillians was big enough to have a large group gathering. The owners of Lucky Strike are well aware of the convenience and reputation of this being a "Red Sox" bar and do nothing above and beyond to make a good reputation for themselves. I have yet to meet one member of the staff (including management) that is even slightly helpful or good at their job. Everyone seems miserable that works there and many of them don't speak English so good luck trying to speak to someone if you need something. They are completely CLUELESS with anything having to do with good customer service. They will take your food/drinks if you step away for one minute and do not care that you were not finished. If you want to feel like your business and patronage is completely unappreciated then go to Lucky Strike/Jillians! I will NEVER come here again. You would think that they would have wanted to make my party go as smoothly as possible since I brought approximately 100 guests with the potential to spend a fair amount of money. Never, ever again. There are too many other places around Fenway for them to act as if they don't need your business.
