I initially dined at North 26 after reading a very positive review in another publication. I went there with reasonable, but high, expectations and they were to my delight surpassed. It has since become one of my new favorite spots to dine in the city. The food is always creative, fresh, flavorful and well presented. I have now dined there on five occasions over the past few months and have always left saying how great it was. I'll certainly be going back.

I'm a frequent business traveler and am always wary of 'hotel restaurants' - after reading rave reviews in the Phoenix and Herald my husband and I decided last month to make this our weekly 'date night' destination. It was almost 7 weeks ago and we still find ourselves bringing up something new we hadn't discussed about what we enjoyed that night. In fact, we have been back twice since. I was nervous for our last visit Saturday night, because it was the new fall menu and I hoped it compared to the last. We were blown away!!! I appreciate that enjoying food is a subjective experience, explaining Ms. First's much different perspective, but I'm sure that North 26 will thrive from the reverberation of many many more happy diners like us. We can't wait for our next visit, North Twenty Six!!!

North 26, opened in the Millennium Bostonian Hotel this past fall, has a seasoned chef of the New England school: Brian Flagg, who cooked with Jasper White at Jasper’s and Summer Shack and Todd English at Olives, and was executive chef at Harvard Square’s Harvest in the mid-’90s.
