Even though the comedians weren't bad, the club itself is what totally turned me off from this place. It was very noisy and the crowd was rude/drunk.

Loud and cramped.
The comedians were pretty good but the club was cramped, uncomfortable and loud.

Nothing special...
I had expected Mottley's to be something special after reading some review online but it really wasn't impressive. The room felt crowded, the comedians were average, the room was noisy and the service was average.

Small Place, Big Laughs
I dont know about the other two user reviews, but when I went to mottley, with my buddies, we had a great time. First off, I was surprised to see how much smaller it was compared to other comedy clubs, so I was like eehhh, but I quickly saw that it worked to their advantage, it felt like you were right there on stage with the comics, which was a dope experince. I also like the comedians who they had on stage, mostly local acts from new england, which i felt good supporting that night. Drink service was def a plus! Tix was cheap n affordable for me n my bro's, I def reconmend to anyone on a budget who's trying to do something different then the usual dinner, movies, or cub thing.

Great Small Club For Seeing All Kinds of Comedy Styles
This club is a lot of fun because they know comedy takes many forms, and they're willing to give them all a try. Traditional standup, sketches, theme shows. Up-and-comers mixed with established pros. Only reason to give it three and a half stars is that the upstairs bar can get a little noisy for those in the back of the comedy club.
