Highly recommended - it's real jewish/israelian food - you have to try it and learn about.

We were looking for some unusual Sunday entertainment and being visited several culinary tours in the past were hesitant to take this program. However once we got there we never regretted the choice. Comparing to other similar events we were offered a substantial amount of food at each tasting, so we even skipped lunch this day. We have been also given handouts with information about the places we visited and discount coupons. Living close-by to Brookline and visiting this town often, we now has educated choice of number of establishments to eat-in and also to buy Jewish foods. From educational standpoint it was also very deep. Unlike other similar programs, where mostly cooking tips are given it was a right combination of Brookline history, Jewish history in Boston, stories about the places and of course a complete coverage of Jewish cuisine. Highly recommended event for any gender and age category. It is also nice way to celebrate a birthday (they give discount) or other event in
small company of friends.

Last summer my husband and I took the Jewish cuisine in Brookline tour.
We were new to the area, and to the topic, but friendly atmosphere, caring attitude, and good natured humor of the tour guides and founders Julia and Leo made us feel at ease. Not the cheapest tour, but we had a great time, and the food was delicious.

I went on "Jewish Cuisine Tour" with Ms. Julia Goldberg approximately in the middle of September 2008. I liked how the tour was organized. Julia told us many details about kosher food, local food producers and retailers...These stories made all tour participants felt at home in Brookline. A lot of delicious samples with ice cream and wine tasting at the end. Fantastic time!
