Mother & daughter Cynthia & Meira Levinson share their new books on how youth civic involvement can change the world. In We’ve Got A Job, Cynthia tells of the Children's March in Birmingham, AL when kids & teens flooded the city's streets & jails to fight segregation. In No Citizen Left Behind, Meira draws on her experience teaching in an all-black Atlanta school to make a case for education reform aimed at civic involvement & closing the "civic empowerment gap" dividing black & white students.
