The Coolidge Corner Theatre kicks off a new season of Science on Screen with a special showing of David Fincher's brilliantly disturbing SE7EN, in which two homicide detectives played by Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt, hunt for a serial killer who murders each victim based on one of the seven deadly sins. Forensic psychiatrist Thomas Gutheil speaks before the film on the psychology of serial killers and issues of insanity and the law.
