For the Love of Yarn
Clara Parkes ventures down from the boonies to expose intimate details about her own torrid love affair with yarn, sharing hard-earned life lessons about how you, too, can navigate this rocky path. But this evening isn't just about her -- prepare to kick off the New Year with a renewal of your own knitterly vows, to love, honor, and cherish our yarn until accidental felting or death do us part (although some folks may want to debate that last bit).
Clara Parkes, publisher of Knitter's Review
Clara Parkes' love affair with yarn began at the innocent age of 12. Since 2000, she has been leading intrepid knitters on a weekly yarn adventure through Knitter's Review. Her book, The Knitter's Book of Yarn, helps us understand where our yarn comes from, how it's made, and how we can more confidently intuit what it wants to become. She lives on the coast of Maine in a farmhouse full of yarn.
