Jennifer L. Roberts, Professor of History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University, will present the lecture "The Printerly Art of Jasper Johns" at 6pm, which explores the ways in which the logic of print shapes John’s entire career, informing his interest in transfer, repetition, and layering.
This lecture coincides with the opening of "Jasper Johns / In Press: The Crosshatch Works and the Logic of Print." From 5–8 pm there will be a reception in the Sackler lobby and open galleries.
