Radius Ensemble: Bright Music
The critically acclaimed chamber music group Radius Ensemble concludes its thirteenth season on May 5 at Pickman Hall at the Longy School of Music, where the group was recently named Ensemble in Residence.
Saint-Saëns’s Tarantella, named for the vigorous folk dance thought to cure spider bites, and a youthful sextet for horns and strings by Beethoven. Plus Ned Rorem’s optimistic Bright Music. And a world premiere by the student winner of the first Radius-Longy composition contest.
