Revived Nick’s Comedy Stop expands into Cambridge

John Tobin saw live comedy for the first time at Nick’s Comedy Stop in the fall of 1986. He was 17, a junior at Catholic Memorial School in West Roxbury, who’d grown up listening to his parents’ Steve Martin records. Seeing comedy in a club was a revelation for him and his friends.
