Second Fridays: Slide Rule Olympics

Friday, Aug 10, 2012 5:00p to 8:00p

'Tis the season for competition. Celebrate calculation and computation with slide rules this summer at the MIT Museum. Explore our “slipstick” exhibit, examine historic slide rules, and even learn how to use them yourself. Then, race against the clock and see if you can go for the gold in fast-paced time trials. Once you have mastered the basics, join your friends and family in an exciting relay race to test your skills.
