An Evening With The Laurence Hobgood Quartet Hosted by Eric Jackson

“An Evening with the Laurence Hobgood Quartet” featuring Grammy-winning jazz pianist Laurence Hobgood with drummer Jaren Schonig, bassist Matthew Rybicki and saxophonist Jimmy Greene comes to the Regattabar August 2.

“We’ll be focusing on my original compositions” says Hobgood. “Over the last 17 years with Kurt Elling, I’ve learned how to assemble a set that has an overall ‘story arc’ and really engrosses the audience--the goal being to make 75 minutes seem like 25!" says Hobgood.
