WAM! Boston Film Festival 2013

The 3rd annual WAM! Boston film festival presents films made by women and about women, from independent filmmakers from New England and around the globe.

“Agency” follows five young women struggling to work as models in Osaka’s fashion market. “Cutting Up” examines the world of professional female bodybuilders. “Why Do You Have Black Dolls” explores the history, beauty, and pride of black dolls.

Double Feature: Bordering on Treason and Words of Witness

"Words of Witness" is a documentary that follows 22-year-old journalist Heba Afify as she covers Egypt’s Revolution. "Bordering on Treason"(preview screening) tells the story of Lorna Tychostup, a single mother and photojournalist who travels to Iraq to put a human face on
the Iraq War.

Circus Dreams
