Brian Stokes Mitchell was born on Halloween. Maybe that's why he's so comfortable putting on a costume and inhabiting big roles in musicals such as "Ragtime," "Kiss Me, Kate," and "Man of LaMancha." Before cementing his reputation as a Broadway star, Mitchell enjoyed a television and film career that included seven years on "Trapper John, MD." The versatile baritone is also accomplished in classical (he's done Gershwin with the San Francisco Symphony and Copland with the Los Angeles Philharmonic).… Show more
