Harvest Restaurant

I had the pleasure of having dinner at Harvest, by far one of the best meals I had in a long time!! I have had dinner at most of the restaurants in the cambridge area. I think its is one of the top restaurants in cambridge.

My boyfriend and I tried Harvest about a month ago-it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. To start, the bread that was brought to us had a roach in it. It was crawling all over the flat bread in the basket. When we discretely called our server over to address the issue he did nothing but replace the bread. Seriously? We reluctantly stayed for the rest of the meal, which was mediocre at best. Our server disappeared for the rest of the time we were seated and our table was completely neglected. Disgusted, we wrote to the manager, who did not bother to reply. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. The food, service and management at Harvest is horrible.

What a downfall from the good old days. The wait staff has their noses in the air, they know nothing about the wines they serve, the food was not even medocre, and they treat you (the customer) as if you intruded. My wife and I went there for a special occasion (we should have read the growing # of bad reviews!), and it was a terrible experience. You'd think they would do better with all of the bad reviews pouring in!! Avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!!!!
