Charlie's Kitchen

This place has the same feel as the neighborhood candy shop did when you were a kid: for an adult, it is a local sandwich shop with a great choice of beers. Even if busy and the waitresses overwhelmed, they are personable and are friendly if you are friendly with them. The food is pretty good for lunch fare, though nothing is gourmet. Just a fun place to hang out for a drink or two and a bite.

My friend and I visit this place about once a month and are always greeted with big smiles and friendly service. the bartenders are talkative and helpful. The waitress was awesome even when it was packed and the kitchen is crazy. Funky atmosphere and not stuffy at all. A real place with genuine people!

Went there on a Friday with friends and was ID at the door. The place was packed so I made a sole trip to the bar for my friends. The bartender required that everyone be there so she can verify that we were old enough to drink. It makes no sense to ID me at the door and at the bar
