Don't believe the hype! Apparently this restaurant was good when another chief and management was in control. Some of our food was served at our table stone cold (mashed potatoes...come on!) and some even under cooked. Never had sushi quality tuna where some of the medallions were over cooked and some rare on the same plate.
Over priced and not worth the wait for a reservation. If you enjoy an over crowded lounge to be "seen" in Cambridge and don't mind paying $12.00 for a glass of wine that retails for $18.00 a bottle. You might just enjoy the "hype".

While waiting for friends in the bar we had the tastiest sweet potato ravioli I have ever had but....then we stayed for dinner.
My companions thought their fish dishes were just OK. I had the seafood stew. I love seafood and cook all kinds of seafood stews. I've been to Morocco (the chef's home country) multiple times so I ordered the stew hoping for a Moroccan twist. It was aggressively disgusting! The broth had a muddy cistern water flavor and the seafood was rubbery. It was too disgusting to eat and I had it taken away. No apology or gesture was offered but at least we didn't have to pay for it.

In 2009, the South End restaurant Banq became Ginger Park. The reinvention was promising. Management brought in chef Patricia Yeo to turn the food around. Arriving from New York, where she garnered acclaim for her restaurant AZ, Yeo put together a roster of Asian-inspired small plates that shone.
