The Red House Restaurant

Diner in the bar next to the fireplace is wonderful. We were so excited to find a blazing fire and empty tables this evening. unfortunately we had the "F"team on duty at the bar and servicing tables in the bar this post Christmas evening.

Our waitress was unfriendly and required prompting to bring menus. The food service was unusually slow ( there was only 2 other tables of 2 in the room) and the waitress/bar-tender was barely articulate in contrast to other servers we've had that helped animate our dining experience.

Topping it all off was a hurriedly-prepared cappacino with less that 1/4" of wet foam on the top at scaldingly hot temps. We'll try again, but this was our worst dining experience in years.
