Comfort food with an Asian twist, and karaoke to boot

Miyako is a spacious Japanese steak house that opened earlier this year in the rather forlorn shopping center behind the former Circuit City store in Danvers. Although we arrived without reservations on a Saturday evening at 7, we suspected we wouldn not have to wait for a table, and we didn’t. In the main dining room where we ate, the booths and tables were mostly free. It was strangely quiet for a weekend night, despite the numerous large-screen TVs hanging over the bar and on the walls.
