I am so tired of the negative comments about this theater. It's just an average theater there is nothing wrong with it.

On 2 Sept 2010 someone spoke of the audio level. It is true. The management are completely irresponsible (or young and naive) to run the audio at those high levels. I have not brought in a Sound Pressure Level meter but expect it will show some un-healthy levels.
Unhappy they are that dumb.
But hey, they are also "managing" a candy, soda, and popcorn concession, it has gotta be taxing for them.

I find this theater very unpleasant to visit and am always angry and annoyed before the movie even starts. The previews are way too loud, every one ends with a bone rattling bass explosion sound (no matter what the movie is) and they go for 10-15 minutes - after paying good money to go to a movie I deserve to be treated with more respect. They could fix this issue if they wanted to. The stadium seating is nice. This could be a good theater if were run by someone who cares about customers and their ears.

This is a great movie. I took a high school girl and 2 college freshmen and 2 college sophomores to the movie. We really enjoyed it. No name actors - they did a fabulous job. The story line was typical of a teen life - maybe more than we're usually exposed to but well worth watching.

What the other said is true but the worst part for me is the 10 minutes of commercials. In an era when I can wait a couple of months and see it at home, this is unbelievably stupid.

I would agree that the theater has some shortcomings like parking and lobby and concession layout but personally, I like the comfy seats and layout of the movie theaters. Most seats are great and I love the front row with railings that are at the perfect distance to the screen. I went to the Showcase in Woburn and there was no comparison

We find the great pricing and friendliness of Gloucester Cinema plus first run movies a plus. Cinema Salem is another small and great venue and a great IMAX experience is Jordan’s without all the hassle of Boston.
I find the whole mall thing just too much on too many levels, the staff is not thrilled to be there themselves and less so for you to be there, their pricing is over the top for what you get (did I mention that Gloucester and Salem use real butter?), plus the whole parking and mall aggravation to top off a lukewarm movie experience, I’d rather go elsewhere.

The concession stand is very poorly laid out, requiring the workers to criss cross throught the kiosk for basic items like soda and popcorn. This leads to long lines that block foot traffic. The movie we saw was oversold by 5-6 seats, my sister and daughter sat on the steps because there were no seats left, we didn't complain because we had driven over 1/2 hr to get there. No usher ever ventured into the theater. I would drive quite far to avoid this theater, especially on a busy weekend, it is the worst run multiplex I have ever experienced. STAY AWAY!!! I surely will
