Loves it.

First of all, Kings is beautiful. It's a brand new facility, just built last year and opened about 6 months ago. I like the lighting, too. The sound system is amazing and I love all the music that they play. They show videos on the million TVs they have. As for service, it's really pretty great. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be working there, which says a lot. Big smiles and helpful suggestions from servers when going over the menu my first time there--and on subsequent trips there. The drinks are made well, and they're creative, too. I've been to a few theme parties there, and have had a blast. My favorite thing on the menu is the Angry Burger. It has pepper Jack cheese and all kinds of other delicious ingredients. This is a rave review, and I think it's so important to give kudos where they are deserved, not just using this site to rant about bad things. Kings definitely deserves kudos for awesome food, drinks, service, and atmosphere!!

Kings is fantastic. I live right around the corner and go in every couple weeks (sometimes more) with my friends. The staff are the reason we go back. They are friendly and hospitable every visit. We have fun bowling even though we suck and the music is great. We have starting going to Karaoke Fridays every week too! A BLAST!
THE FOOD! A+. No one believes me when I first take them there how good it will be. It is fantastic. The steak tips and mac and cheese are the best and I love the read more » grilled eggplant and portabello wrap. The strawberry fusion martini is my poison! Mmmmm...
I guess I am partial to Kings because I go so often and they take such good care of me. A unique dining and entertainment experience in a place you can feel comfortable.

Jim Crow in disguise

Dress code - No work style boots
No large chains
No sunglasses
No bandanas/doo-rags
No hooded sweatshirts
No baseball hats
I personally wear none of those things since I am 47 years old, but I am a highly offended by the attempt to keep younger, hip hop styled african americans out of the establishment. Why? is the stereotype that they are all thugs? doo rags? who else would wear one? Large chains? since when do places judge you based on jewelry? I think it is clear to anyone with a brain that this is their attempt to limit the amount of African Americans in the establishment. Why not just put up a big sign that says "NO COLORED PEOPLE ALLOWED" I bet if it was still legal they would.
