Registered occupational therapist and licensed Brain Gym instructor, Stephanie Beynon, will present a two-hour introduction to the Brain Gym system. Originally developed out of clinical studies designed to assist learning disabled children and adults, Brain Gym is a system of quick and enjoyable physical activities that directly enhance brain function. It is based on the principle that nature already gave you a perfect way to maximize your brain power: move your body! Program participants will experience the changes that are possible when using movement to facilitate learning. They will learn simple activities to use in the classroom or in their own lives. Free tickets are required for admission and will be available beginning Wed., March 12 at the children's reference desk or by calling 781-934-2721 Ext. 115
